Cute doggy at Grahan village

I found this dog near my homestay. He was friendly, healthy & full of energy. The dogs here are the true guardians to this village.

Male dogs will raise their legs while urinating to aim higher on a tree or lamppost because they want to leave a message that they are tall and intimidating. Some wild dogs in Africa try to run up tree trunks while they are urinating to appear to be very large.

Yeah they are, had one of them trek with us from Barshaini to kheerganga & back after 2 days, literally knew the trail n did all the waterfall crossings like he's done it a million times before, such a positive push that is for trekkers..

@cannaqueen Hahha. We were accompanied by a female dog for the grahan trek. She trekked with us the entire time & disappeared once we reached the village. :(
