You are the Artist, the Art is your Life

By nature, we are creative and intuitive beings. As a child, the reason we were so creative and free was because we didn't care how we were going to be perceived, weren't afraid to fail, and were led by the powerful force of intuition!

We must learn to reconnect to, and follow our creative intuition. I assure you it is there, sprouting out of that divine place. If we listen closely, it shall be heard. But that is only the first step. The next, is allowing it to work through you. It is the source of creation, the force that turns the tiny acorn into the mighty oak. How do we allow for it to come through us? By trusting life. We must learn to stop listening to the fearful voice in our heads, that wants to hold us back, to keep us safe in our comfortable, but dull life. But, you must realize that this resistance is suffering.

This voice has been conditioned to believe it is separate from life, to play it safe, care how others might perceive you, to protect who we think we are. This is the ego.

Find the light within yourself to lead you the way.

Now, we must accept ourselves. Everything we hate, everything we run away from. Acceptance of where we are RIGHT now, is key. Embrace how you feel, don’t judge, and let go. It will disappear of itself, just watch. Be mindful of this moment. Be grateful for this chance to grow, and for the opportunity to take the journey and truly live. The journey is what we’re here to do. It’s the process of growing into what we most desire to become. Who you envision yourself to be. What is life without the journey, if not being in the state of unbearable anxiety and despair?
