Too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears. —Les Brown

The older we grew up, the more we fears about life. If you still remember how we used to explore and learn when we are still a kid, you will realize we are limiting ourselves to do what we should do as a “normal adult”. This is especially true in Asia contries. Most of the Asian parents have a traditional mindset and they think being a professional in the future means you are success. In order to become a professional, we are told to study hard and spend less time on hobbies such as dancing, drawing and playing games. If you can get a good grades, it means you will be successful in the future. If you get bad grades, you will be automatically labelled as a bad kid who doesn’t want to study and always spending time on unncessary things. Teachers will tend to pay less attention to these kind of students and as a result, they will feel ignored. They don’t appreciate their talents because they are told that talents are not valuable. This is a very wrong mindset because reality has proved that good grades doesn’t mean anything if you have bad personality traits.

Too often, we focus on how scary it will be instead on how much you want to achieve your dreams. There are too many things to be afraid of, for example, we afraid of giving speech in front of thousand people, we afraid that we might let our parents down, w afraid of choosing the wrong career path and we afraid of becoming of losers in life. It is perfectly normal to feel anxious, lost and stress. These are all human natures. But the way of how we deal with it can differentiate us between winner and loser. Once your overcome your fear, you will realize how funny you was back then. It will boost your confidence level and you can finally tell yourself that: I DID IT!

There is no success without struggle. Success doesn’t come easily without hard work. This is same goes to Steemit. When you first sign up your account, your reputation and voting power is low. You need to work on quality contents and making sincere connection with other Steemians in order to get attention. It is not easy to gain followers and reputation because there are so many new joiners everyday and what makes you outstanding from others? You can’t expect to have instant upvotes just because u spend quite some time on your article. You should’t lose your faith and interest in posting and sharing articles despite of not getting good return in few months time. This is not a money game where you can simply put a lum sum of money then waiting for the high return. Focus on your dreams and have faith in it. Do not fear of writing even if you only have less than 10 views. You might think that you are not a good writer, but who knows? Just give it a try.

Your article after 9 days of gap. You must have been very busy lately with your day job. Take good care of your health. You are right about dare to dream. I am also concerned about quite a number of things. I am like many steemit members who want to build a passive income in steemit and it is everyone's dream. Perhap it really takes time and we need to have patience! Jia You! Jiashin!
