Friends have an important role in shaping one'sdestiny.
It is a popular saying that "A friend in need is a friend indeed." There's nothing compared to a friend who will stay with you through though times.
When there is water in the pond many frogs stay around it, but when there is no water they abandon the place and go elsewhere. Similarly untrue friends stay with a person as long as he has money and position.

But during hard times, few people continue their friendship and help. They tend to bend with the tide. They turn to the trending flock. The famous poet Rahim says that the troubles which come for a short time are good, because they show us who is our true friend.
A good friend guides us on the right path and if we fail he helps us to have courage and wait for the good times to come. They share our joys and sorrows. Celebrate with us and mourn with us. False friends and people who pretend to be friends tempt us to do things which lead to downfall.
So it is very important to choose the right friends as we make our journey through life because the Friends you choose will either make you or mar you.
