Yes life is so worth , No work No food.
I write this with great concerns. I see a generation of young people who're waiting for one big move to never ever have to work again. Working and earning daily are considered old school and I'm like, "what is it with hard work that scares us?" But here's the thing: To remain successful, we must enjoy a working lifestyle.
I'm yet to see a farmer who had a bountiful harvest without planting, watering, and weeding. I'm yet to see a mansion raised without any signs of labour.
Have you seen? Please let me know.
Show me the latest billionaire in town with no signs of labour and I'll show you a person who either robbed a bank, won a lottery or received an inheritance. Now don't get this wrong. They ain't crazy absolutes but facts.
What's funny is that all these persons did something. The thief planned for many days and took great risks you'd never have taken. The person who won a lottery most probably bought a ticket, played his or her cards and won the jackpot.
However, some people will call this favour. But guess what, favour ain't fair. No system lives and survives 24/7 on it, not even the Lord's house. It's a one in a million event. If in doubt, walk the streets every day expecting favours. O yes! You'll suddenly become a beggar. That's fitting right? You tell me why Paul accosted the Thessalonians for laziness, reminding them that a person who does not work should not eat (2 Thess. 3:10-15)
Should the one who got an inheritance from a benefactor be considered as favoured? O yes! That's anotger rare event. However, if the benefactor never earned it, the beneficiaries would never have inherited it. So cut the chase and face the facts.
Don't live your life expecting favours and handouts. Even the Lord said he'll bless the work of your hands (Deut. 28:12). He said he'll fill your store rooms with goodies too (Prov. 3:10). Well, why have a store room when you don't have a labour field?
Gone are the days we'd allow some laid back preacher take the little you have in exchange for the Lord's favours. Well, if he or she depended on favours, why take yours as a sign of commitment? Why demand your regular seeds while he or she claims "the Lord's blessings"?
Apostle Paul knew all these that's why he reminded his congregation that he had to labour and earn his meal as a tent-maker, lest he hinder the gospel (1 Cor. 9:12).
Well, you have the cards before you.
Play yours and play it well.
Get off your coach and get to work.
Work until you see results.
Work until sleep becomes a reward.
Work until your testimonies become a lifestyle, and guess what, we all love hardworking folks.
If you want Results, Get to Work!
Because
"The best is yet to come....."
