Dating in the Post Covid-19 Era

If finding a dating partner was a hard endeavor before the pandemic, I hate to break it to you, but things might get even more complicated in the post lockdown period.

We did get significant freedom over the past few weeks compared to how we lived in the months of March and April when even the thought of visiting a neighbor seemed courageous as it could have resulted, in many countries, in getting a fine.

As many countries are even considering opening up for tourism in the ne xt teo weeks, there is increased hope that life can and will go back to normal. However, how we define normal might change drastically and we might still need to wait for many months until we will be able to socialize again the way we used to.

In other words, if you were used to hook up in bars and clubs while havinf fun on the dance ring or at a concert surrounded by hundreds of people who shared your same musical affinities, you might not be able to resume these habits for some time.

Will people find it more difficult to meet in real life, rather than online, in the post Covid era? As long as many social distancing measures and restrictions are still inplace, probably yes.

And look at the bright side of things; while trying to make a girl notice and want to chat with you online might not be as excitong as drinking a gin at the bar, it's definitely far cheaper.
