Life after being a victim of abduction as a young teen Part 3

Prior to going to police to report the murder I first wanted to go back to the locations where my abduction and the murder I witnessed occurred and then relocate the bushland where my main sicko perpetrators took me to kill me and where they buried her remains. Also, it was the place I escaped their clutches at an opportunistic moments when both men broke into a vicious fight together. I ran as fast I could after carefully sneaking away into the thick bushland.

I found the road where the house once stood in an open field after 28 years since the crime took place, the house was gone and replaced by a massive industrial building. I then went in search for the bushland. Using landmarks I recalled. After a 30 minute drive finding the landmarks although slightly changed over several decades I finally found the bushland and thankfully undisturbed or built upon.

As I commenced walking toward the bushland I found the old disused dirt track. Now covered over with thick leaf matter. The scenery looked different because we had a severe drought unlike back in 1976 when it was lush and green with natural grasses. As I walked along this track and coming to a right hand corner of the track I thought to myself. If I am in the right spot around the corner on the right hand side of the track there should be a massive cliff face formed by huge boulders.  Sure enough there they were and they were exactly as I recalled them. I felt my heart pace harder and a sense of unease as the reality of my recall came flooding back. It was that moment that my mind cemented the fact that my recollections were not figments of my imagination.

As much as my family assured me I did go missing in 1976 and after I was returned home by police and told I had no recollections of what happened to me. Including the psychiatrist informing my parents and siblings that something extremely traumatic had occurred to me for my mind to shut it away. My family never spoke about it ever again. My family were aware of my friend's disappearance but did not piece that the two were together. My mother did tell me that the psychiatrist back in 1976 told her that if my memories were to return the likely time period will be in my 30's or later. I was 37 year old when the abduction and rapes came flooding back.

Standing on the track looking at the bouldered cliff face and the reality hitting home made me finally feel relief that I was not going insane and that my flashbacks were real experiences during the period of my abduction. The other thing that aroused my senses was the fact that the sound of insects had gone deafly silent. I heard the insects whilst walking through the start of the track but now no longer. I shrugged it off and continued up the track confident now that the track ends at a T junction on a steep dirt track about half way up the hill. At the T junction I will have to turn left down the steep decline. Sure enough a T junction was ahead of me, as I neared the T junction I heard a noise to the right of me which startled me at first until I realised it was a kangaroo racing in the same direction I was heading toward. I watched the roo as it raced to the right of the junction up  the track leading to the hilltop and then out of sight. When I finally got to the T junction I heard more noise coming from the top of the track and saw around 10 huge grey kangaroos standing side by side in a straight line stretching from one side of the track to the other. All of the roos looking straight down at me and it gave me shivers down the spine. I watched them for a few moments and finally they all turned to their right and jumped off in the same direction into the bush. I thought how strange.

I turned to the left and headed down the track till I came upon the bend where years earlier these sick criminals took me in order to kill me and dispose of me.
