TIME GOES TOO FAST😱

Do you not even know what you did last week or weekend and are you regularly surprised by the date?

Unfortunately you can't buy time and you must enjoy the time that you get. However, there are practical ways to fill the time to make it much more valuable, giving you the feeling that you have more time than ever, even if the time seems to go faster when you get older.

How you experience time is mainly about what you are doing at that time. For example, a week of sickness seems to last endlessly while a vacation is over very soon.

Why does it seems to go faster when you are older?

A first explanation is the fact that time is getting faster as you grow older and that can be found in the proportionality theory. As you grow older, a certain amount of time, for example a year, is shorter than the total time span of your life.

One of the other statements is biological. As people grow older, their metabolism will become slower. With others words: their bodies run less quickly. In comparison with adults, children have faster breathing and a faster heart rate.

Experiments show that as we take more information to us, we experience the time as longer. As the complexity of the information increases, we experience more time. However, if the information is known to those who take it, this effect decreases. So In other words, new experiences cause a slower passage of time. This explains why children experience more time than adults, because for them there is much more to discover in the world. In everyday life, many things are relatively new to those who are just normal to adults.

But it's no different than this and we have to try to live with it. I'd say just enjoy every moment you get, because life is over before you know it. So people just make the best of your life and you can not do more...

nice. it's a good thing when time goes quickly; means you are having fun or keeping super busy. When it's slow; it can be torturous. Enjoy the ride and do good deeds. You'll miss the opportunity to do that when you're gone :)

I often think time has passed me by! Halp !! :o)

I have tried to explain this to others before. Everything is relative! A year to a 4 year old will seem much longer versus someone in their twenties. One year is 25% of the life they have already experienced (and they can't even recall most of it!)

Ahhhh....that puts me 50% behind the median (I think - adjusted for inflation!) Whelp. I just keep reminding myself, James Dean only made it to 24 - so I have somehow managed to double him up (and still look his age) WAHOOOO !!
