One of everyone's favorite snack.

You eat it, during movies, while traveling, even during work! Sometimes you may feel guilty while eating one, but you should not. You may gain weight while eating it, but you also should think about the good stuff it has.

But, what does the chocolate have that can be considered good?

You may not know, but eating chocolate brings a lot of benefits to you life, like:

  • Low Colesterol: According to studies, it helps to reduce reduce low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels (bad fats), may support cardiovascular health improving blood pressure.
  • It is a powerful source of antioxidants: Bitter chocolate is full of organic components that are biologically active and function as antioxidants. This includes polyphenols, flavonoids and catechins, among others.
  • Protects the skin from the sun: The bioactive components in bitter chocolate can be of great benefit to the skin. Flavonoids protect against damage induced by the sun, improve blood flow to the skin and increase its density and hydration.
  • Improves brain function: Studies showed that five days of consumption of high flavonoid cocoa improved blood flow to the brain. Cocoa could also significantly improve cognitive function in older people who suffer from some decrease in their mental abilities.
