Getting into high school or college is one wish that everyone wishes for, although we have to work really hard despite its cost, knowing that for a man/woman to achieve greatness in life he/she have to work really hard even when that potential is there.
College life seems a different world on his own, a place of character revolution, a place where we get to associate with friends and metamorphosed. The reason why lot of persons ends up in the wrong way at college, is because of lack of proper orientation , thinking he/she knows it all and can do it just by themselves.
Below are some helpful tips to keep you up going at college.
Fifty percent of your personality can be told just from the type of friends you keep, it's best to move with friends that people around can speak good of,friends that will improve your educational life because friends really have a role to play in ones life. Lots of persons has ended up in school problem, secret cults and even bad gang just as a result of having the wrong peer group. So you should be mindful and careful of who you make as friends.
Don't think that after spending sleepless nights reading just to get into college or high school and thinking that's where the journey ended, it takes long time reader to come out with good grades. Everyone has his/her unique way of reading, so it's best to figure out that yourself.
Attending classes is one of the best ways to Learn more,knowing fully well that not everything that we read that we get to understand well, so we still need the lecturer or college professor to explain more for us and thus is because no one is an highland of knowledge.
Also look for and attend a church if your religion is Christianity or a mosque if you are a Muslim because that will also help your academic growth.

I agree with you, peer pressure is a raging factor that can cause school problem. Many students are being lured in one way or the other into bad gang or secret cult.
@seanmalex , So having good and responsible peer group will solve that problem.
Though am out of school, but i usually feel sad for the pressures students face in all ramifications of schooling

Getting into college is a stage in life where if you miss it, it really becomes difficult later in life. One has to be really careful with the freedom it offers.
that's the point @omonosa, lots of persons misuse that freedom that it offers, so its high time we started to be careful on how we take that freedom.
