Perks of Being A Teacher: Part 1
Teaching is a noble profession they say. It is a profession that allows every professional teacher to mold the next generation. Teaching is like a metal that is a good conductor or a good model for the young ones. It is also like multiplying good people, dividing the good and the bad, adding great ones, and subtracting bad attitudes.
Teaching is my passion that is now my profession...
Being a professional teacher you should a great mind and a humble heart. Being talented, intelligent and talented teacher is not enough. A teacher must be gentle, sweet, and kind for the pupils will motivate themselves to listen to their teacher.

Without any further ado, this is one of the reasons why I love teaching and its perks. One of the perks I truly love the most of being a teacher is having a GAD seminar. We, teachers, are having this seminar annually during our vacation.
We usually do it in the month of April. Last year we conducted our seminar in Canyon Cove located at Nasugbu, Batangas, Philippines. It was a great experience to be there with my co-teacher/co-steemians which are @andrewjohntamban and @jasminsolinap. We took some acrobatic shots there and plays some seaweeds. I was really happy to be there and am lucky that we always had that kind of seminar. Having a vacation/seminar like this with your friends is so awesome! Here are some pictures that we took at Canyon Cove.
And now, we conducted again our seminar last April 27, 2018, at La Luz beach resort in Hugom, Batangas, Philippines. Unlike the last seminar on 2017, it was more fun and excitement. Why? Because my principal, Nelson R. Umali accepted my request to transfer to the Los Baños National High School and to serve the said school with my very best. It was a dream to teach in a big school like that. To teach plenty of children with different attitudes, different thoughts, and different goals in life. It was a milestone for me.
We also had pictures with my best co-teacher I've ever met @andrewjohntamban. Even though we were going to separate apart, a real man doesn't forget the memories of his comrades even if it is bad or good memories. We enjoyed the summer breeze in La Luz. The sand beach resort is good enough for foreigners to visit with. They will surely enjoy the ambience and the atmosphere of the resort just like we did.
In addition, the food was really good! They serve Korean beef, smoked tuna, fresh veggies, and the main product of Batangas which is the fine coffee called "Kapeng Barako". The staffs were very hospitable and respectful. Also, they prepared recreational activities for us. We do the game called "Sack Race" and a play chess in a big board with big chess pieces.
Being a teacher is not all about salary. Being a teacher is not all about grades for your favourite students. Being a teacher is not all about teaching. But being a teacher is all about having good friends that you will go meet on your road. And being a teacher is all about wearing a humble and gentle heart for all of the people surrounds you.
>Teaching is a noble profession.
I agree with you bro. Teacher is like a potter to the clay that molds them to be what they want to be, giving bright future.
Thanks man! And I know that you are a great leader too.
Teaching is hard when students fear the subject you are teaching them. Adapt to each students learning curves and they will begin to love you and all the things that comes out your mouth.
It's not about the salary but the tenure it will make you hold on to teaching for the rest of your prime life.
It will test your patience and tenacity handling students with different kinds of attitudes along your growing life.
Teachers needed not to be good mentors at all. Technically you all should. But please consider being more patient with students who tries so hard to catch up.
Great blog! Nice compilation of photos.
Very well said @fycee. Are you one of us too?
