Have You Heard About Cerebrolysin?
It's made from purified pig brains, and it might make your brain grow. Created by a pharmaceutical company in Austria, it's commonly used for stroke and brain trauma patients as well as people with Alzheimer's disease.
I tried it, perhaps a 20 times or so, as a nootropic (AKA "Smart drug"). While I'm not sure if I'm smarter, it clearly has powerful effects. I typically felt joyful, energetic and found it easy to focus and learn new things, all with no noticeable side effects.
The downside, which is not as scary as it seems, is that it must be injected intra-muscularly. I used my thigh, because there are few pain receptors there and self-administration is pretty straightforward: halfway between your hipbone and your knee, in a seated position, and halfway up your thigh in the "meatiest" part. (There are some excellent guides online with pictures if you need a detailed guide)
Does that freak you out? I quickly got over it once I felt the clarity and brain-boosting effects hit within a few seconds, and they lasted for 4-6 hours!
I usually used it on the weekends, up to 2 days in a row, 2ml-sized vials at first and then 5ml vials after I had used it several times (there is also a larger 10ml size). It seems like you acclimate to it with repeated use, and I could tolerate a higher dosage as time went on.
What would you need to get started? Here's a list.
Cerebrolysin vials (available in several stores on the internet)
5 micron filter needles - for drawing the liquid out of the glass vials. Cracking glass vials creates glass dust, which you want to filter that out before injecting. Studies have shown 5 micron filters reliably remove the stuff
Syringes, 5ml or 10ml
Injection needles, 1-inch, 22 gauge
Alcohol swabs + bandaids
Sharps container
And how might you do it? I'm glad you asked:
Open syringe and attach filter needle
With a tissue, crack off top of the glass vial
Draw all liquid into syringe
Replace filter needle with injection needle
Turning needle upward, flick the syringe to remove air bubbles, then push the plunger to squeeze out the air until just a little liquid comes out. Recap syringe and set aside.
Swab injection area on leg with alcohol pad
Insert needle into leg -- doesn't have to be all the way, but that's best -- and depress plunger until gone (you feel pressure as the liquid makes room for itself, but really not a big deal)
Withdraw needle and wipe injection area with alcohol pad, add a bandaid
Cap used needle and place it and the glass vial in the sharps container
