Are people still HONEST? opinions please?

I love it when people are honest about most things about them. These days it's like honest people are hard to find.
Sometimes when you meet other people with good intentions it's hard to give them a chance because of what we've experienced in the past. But I've made up my mind never to let myself judge others based on past sentiments.
