1/ Stop SMOKING : Smoking is by far the largest life time killer – NO DOUBT. When you have a checkup , the first question is “ are you smoking” .No need to be Einstein to understand smoking is your first enemy.

2/Moderate Alcohol. The Alcohol still remains: as a "moderate", so healthy, a maximum of 15 grams per day for women and 30 grams for men. Interesting detail: The figures clearly show that moderate drinking compared to abstinent has a positive effect on life expectancy. But no need to abuse and open the door to be addicted!!

3/During my rehabilitation the medical team insist to do sufficient exercises every day, minimum 30 minutes.
I start by walking believe me it was under 20C, rain, snow it doesn’t matter.
Secondly I am biking at home and making simple stretching movements (several times a day just 10minutes).( you can watch all the exercises in YouTube)
All these exercises strengthen the heart muscle and helps to keep arteries and veins clear. It controls also your weight and regulates the blood pressure.

4/ A healthy diet a healthy heart.
Personally I like to eat but after my operation I start to eat more fruits, vegetables to reduce my blood pressure and also my cholesterol levels. I love fish especially salmon and trout. I avoid fatty meats. Control your weight it is very very important.

5/Stress; Stress affects your Nervous System, Cardiovascular System, Digestive System and your Metabolic System.
How to avoid stress? Again STOP Smoking, Drinking, Start Physical exercises, get more sleep and get control of your LIFE. After all it is all about YOUR LIFE.
A healthy lifestyle, good wholesome nutrition, and stress reduction, you can sometimes ameliorate the long term damage. High levels of both stress and depression were almost 50 percent more likely to die or have a heart attack.

By applying the rules apparently the cancer risk by 62 percent and the risk of cardiovascular disease can be reduced by as much as 82 percent, it is quite impressive

YES After all it is all about YOUR LIFE.
