RE: Was The Moon Landing Fake? Of Course It Was.

in #life7 years ago

It is sad how blindly people believe the things they see on tv and on the Internet. A professor of mine shared a thought on facebook recently - "there is so much information about everything on the internet but you need knowledge to consume it properly and separate the bushit". I think it kind of fits the topic. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, nice to see another "rebel" questioning things. :)

And so, you don't think this post is the 'bullshit' you were warned about?

Well this post is a bit more about how people are manupulated to believe in certain things rather than just "is the first step on the moon fake or not". We all know the speculations about it and everyone ia free to believe whatever they like. I do believe that it is quite possible

Well I'm sceptical of your scepticism

this is exactly the bullshit you're warning people about.

The scary thing about facebook is what is learned about people, and not by what they tell us. I had access to a DEA database for almost two years and it is crazy what all information has been compiled on people.

how'd you get access to that??

I was assigned to a county wide narcotics task force. That was 4 years ago, no telling what information is available now. Before people start muting/down voting me and crap remember that I am on an anarchist blog post and honestly participating. Not all cops are bad.

Hey I agree people are people there are good and bad in every group...

If you get paid with taxes no, because taxes are still obtained through force, people go homeless or worse because they cannot pay them, or because they refuse, no, by principle you cannot be good.

By who's principle? and who says what action was the one that "made people go homeless"? More than just taxes lead people to homelessness... I don't agree with taxes in general either way... but there can be good people doing shitty jobs to avoid being homeless...

The point is that taxes are gathered though force, taxes are theft, because he is paid with stolen money. It's not who's principles, it's what principle, that of integrity of honesty of not getting paid with stolen money.

If someone realizes they are doing something bad and don't stop it is pretty shitty but people do things and don't realize they are bad- like a nurse shooting up a baby with the Hep-B vaccine... but it is common for people
to ignore what is right in front of them and do what they believe benefits them in the short term. Also many people do whatever- if who they believe is an authority figure tells them to- like in the infamous Milgram experiment https://www.simplypsychology.org/milgram.html .
I hated cops all my life for various reasons and have just recently been able to come to terms with the fact we are all just people trying to get by- when it comes down to it. People are good and bad in varying levels. No one is 100% good...

It's not shitty, it's wrong, evil, bad. Yes some might not be smart enough to figure out that taxes are theft, but that doesn't make them good or decent, just stupid AND evil.

You don't know that nobody is 100% good, and even so that doesn't mean anything, it certainly doesn't mean we should excuse or marginalize their evil, because not everyone is 100% good, or because "they are people just trying to get by". Excusing evil acts doesn't make them right. Call me holier than thou, the point is that evil is evil, and wrong is wrong, and excusing people for being unquestioning or stupid or "because they are all just people" (unjust people is what you meant).

Pastor Mike says that stealing is wrong!

I agree with Pastor Mike...whoever that is...
