White lie

The key word here is - whiteblack.
White lies are also called - lie for good, - Lies, which in the event of its disclosure will bring the listener a significant harm, but at the same time represents a significant benefit to the listener himself, or the community as a whole.
Examples of lies in the good is, the desire for frequent protection of our loved ones from anything. Or when we have done something we regret, and do not want to lose a loved one or destroy the family. And for the sake of this - for the benefit of something dear and of great importance to us, we say "white lie".
So it's better to always tell the truth or sometimes "white lie" allowed for good?
