The American Dream is On Its Last Breath

in #life7 years ago

The American dream as the forefathers envisioned and put into place is now on its last breath. People are too busy fighting over what boxes everyone fits in and letting the people in power get away with MURDER! MURDER! Lavoy Finnicum was standing up for HIS rights. He was standing up for HIS freedom and he was shot down in cold blood. It’s time that WE THE PEOPLE, start remembering what this country was founded on and start taking back the American dream. Remember that we the people are the ones that govern the people in power, THEY aren’t supposed to rule us!

Everything has become a way to make money for those in power. Medical, education, banking, and hell, even most non profits that say they are for helping others….the big wigs get their cut first! By the time it’s all said and done the people that it was meant to help only get a dollar or less. Corporations have helped kill the free market for mom and pop businesses. It used to be if you had a dream, you most likely get see it to fruition if you set your mind to it.
Can you take that money with you when you die? Did you leave more positive in this world than negative? Did you always try to put yourself in someone else’s shoes?
Sure, they say that unemployment is only 4 percent. All of these jobs have been created and things have started to make a turn around. Ok, yeah and if you believe that one, let me tell you another one….I am 6 foot tall!
Why should your life be more worthy if you have the money to afford healthcare?

The cost of living keeps going up and the wages don’t. You hear about all of these stores closing and people losing their jobs. People can barely afford to pay rent, they don’t have a the extra money to go out and eat or go to the movies.

Just because you wear a fancy suit, have a title at the end of your name, or you have some kind of badge does not make you better than anyone. We all bleed. Everyone has a purpose on this ball of dirt, there is a path and a story to be told.
We need to go back to bartering. It won’t be able how much money you have in your pocket, but a trade off. You can do this for me and in return this is what I can do for you. Again we all bleed and we need to put the HUMAN back into humanity.
