DISCOVER THE SECRET ATTITUDE THAT CAN OVERCOME ANY CHALLENGE.

What are you passing through now? If you can stand your ground with the understanding that God’s ability is in you, you will overcome. All trials are for you own equipping and development. Look at what the scripture said in James 1:2-4 “Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don't try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.” In all things rely on Jesus; stand your ground because of God. Faith is not the absence of pains or sorrow; faith is holding on because you know that God is there for you and that at the end of the whole storm you will come out better.

This attitude is called the ‘fight of faith.’ It is holding on not because you can but because Jesus can. It is the knowledge that no matter the fierceness of the storm that it must surely be over. It is allowing what God said to rule over circumstances that you are into. It is a life of total surrender to the ability of Jesus Christ. It is that point where you are not the one living but Christ living through you. “I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me” Galatians 2:20.
This type of attitude is a life of total dependency on God. As I said, the fight of faith is holding on to what you believe in the midst of the storm because you know that the storm will surely be over. Anytime the storm is over, you will find out that you are more mature.

Every school has an examination period. From my little experience, students do not like exam periods. It is never pleasant. Examination demands a lot of individual sacrifices. It demands total commitment, dedication, and discipline from the students. In the same manner, life is a school. Once in a while, you will be called upon to write an examination of what you have learned prior to that time. The exam period can be likened to the fight of faith. It is expected of you to have been prepared before the exam.

The scripture told us that faith comes by hearing the word of God. So to develop this attitude, you must be studying the word of God. By that, you are equipping yourself for the D day. Bible called it an evil day. “Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” Ephesians 6:13. Whenever this happens you are to depend on Jesus because He has won the battle already.

To be always victorious in the challenges of life. You must develop the attitude of standing your ground until the storm is over.
