Solitude Mind

SOLITUDE MIND

Walls surround
Void of memorable features
Edges and lines meeting at corners
Routine and expected
Forgettable
Like common ground

Stuck in a box
Unable to escape
Maybe afraid
Don't know
I just want to shout
So loud
Until my walls crash down

Life lacking luster
I want to walk the line again
Up to the edge
So close to the edge
Until scared of falling over
Just to remind that I am still alive
Somehow surviving
Its very thought invigorates
It stimulates
Bringing life back
To a crumbling will
Attached to lethargic limbs

Poke me in the eye
Slap my face
Wake me from this sleep
This unending isochronic dream
Feeling drugged
Like I no longer care
Eyes continue to wander
Void of their once potent wonder
Blankly drifting
They continue to stare

Thank you for sharing your creation @freeinthought. Very soulful makes me feel grateful for my every breath and how much love I have surrounding me. I don't know why but a stream of words flashed before my eyes as I read this poem....loneliness, defeated, confusion, despair, spiritless, fragile, disconnected, helpless, inconsolable, breakdown. Darkness but yearning Light. Hopeless but seeking Hope. Emotionless pursuing Feeling = Solitude Mind.

Vey often those who are the most stuck and lost are those who can see the most truth, stay strong.

Wow. What a though provoking comment. Thank you for the boost. :)

No problem :-) I have written several things about mental health on my blog too, feel free to take a look if you like, its the main thing I intend to write about on here :-)

"stuck in a box, unable to escape" reminds me of my sleep paralysis experiences, it can be scary. Its a wonderful and mind touching poem you've got up there.

I am looking forward to more from you, keep the good work up.

Thanks for the comment. I've had a couple sleep paralysis experiences in my life. The first couple were scary the last one (and most recent) was not bad at all.

Great Poem @freeinthought, controversial but very good. greetings I hope you in my blog with your support.
