Dirty Marketing Tactics
Tic-Tac
I want you to do something for me, I want you to look closely at that picture, that's a pack of the famous candy Tic-tac and I'm certain you can see that the package says 0g of sugar. But, that’s not accurate, it's not true.
Each mint is actually made of a whooping 94.5% sugar.
But the question is how can they list 0 grams when almost the entire package is sugar?
Since the serving size is one mint and each mint is small enough that it contains less than 0.5 grams of sugar, according to the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA), you can list it as 0 grams of sugar.
Now, there are about 38 tic tacs in a container, so there are about 19 grams of sugar in the package instead of the proposed 0grams written on the container.
But they can still list it as sugar free.
Don't you think that's Dirty?
Shame!!!
