When we create a way to change matter to energy and back we will have teleportation.
Kinda like how our analog voice is changed to digital and back on phones.
Maybe the human dna blockchain will prevent copies or the original being destroyed.
I think it's more when we can transform matter into information and back.
Odd you should mention the blockchain. When I was thinking about those security challenges, the blockchain (bloodchain) would likely be the solution. Digital copy of ourselves stored on the blockchain with permissioned access to individual pieces (e.g. medical records for your doctor) then you also have an audit. Signed by a biometric private key so only you have full control and teleportation control.
