Getting loaded.

Got up before dawn. Thank you Bubba. Being licked on the eyebrow tends to do that.

During the night I'd come half awake and noticed that Bubba was asleep on my chest....then again on my side....then again on my back....then again...........

Get the picture? Think of a lumberjack in a logrolling contest. The log rolls but the lumberjack stays on top. Well I was rolling in my sleep and Bubba was staying on top. (guess he was cold....I didn't idle the truck)

So anyway...got up. Drank a bit of leftover Diet Coke...had a bite of Cold Pizza....

Wandered inside..... Cofeeeee .

Bad news...Cat (end of quarter) "dumped on the yard. Lots of stuff needed moved and no one available to help me load. I'd have to do it myself. Oh.......Well.

.
Trog. On the ground and spread.
.
Actually I DID have some help. Another Driver helped me "build" the trailer. The different parts are held together by pins. Putting the pins in is always aggravating....shims are more so.

Trailer is now ready to Load.

That's a hundred and nine thousand pound Cat D10 on the deck.Loaded. That's a hundred and nine thousand pound Cat D10 on the deck.

Loaded. Now re-attach the neck and see what it weighs.

Weighs a LOT. less than six hundred pound from Georgia's Max on Ten of 180,000 lb

But eventually I got 'er done.

Only to find out I had two flat tires on the jeep.

Tire guy didn't get here until after dark.....

Guess I'll leave first thang tomorrow....if it quits snowing..

non the less... that must have been a fun trip pulling that cat cross country. nice

I did it maybe a hundred or so times. The fun part was the last few miles, West Virginia usually, to coal mines.
WVa HAS no flat spots. Everything is vertical and twisted.
