RE: Update on My Healing and @Papa-Pepper's CryptoJeep Challenge!
@arbitrarykitten mam...I'm so sorry for your accident...
A soft tissue injury (STI) is the damage of muscles, ligaments and tendons throughout the body. Common soft tissue injuries usually occur from a sprain, strain, a one off blow resulting in a contusion or overuse of a particular part of the body....
The immediate treatment of any soft tissue injury consists of the RICER protocol – rest, ice, compression, elevation and referral. RICE protocol should be followed for 48–72 hours. The aim is to reduce the bleeding and damage within the joint....
painful is soft tissue damage?
When soft tissue is damaged, there is usually immediate pain along with immediate or delayed swelling (excessive swelling can slow the healing process – see treatment below). Stiffness is also very common as a result of the trauma and swelling. Bruising may also develop after 24-48 hours...
Keep it up dear...
The tissue damage is not that painful. What really hurts is the bone manipulation the doctor is doing every other day. And every time they move my bones to where they should be, the new tissue that's grown there is being ripped for the bones. It literally feels like childbirth. 24 hour a day labor :(
Ohhh...my god...
I'm so sorry my dear friend...
