I Will Not Be Walking For Graduation

in #life7 years ago (edited)

I have finally completed my credit requirements to qualify me for a university undergraduate degree.  It has been a long time coming, but through the mighty grace of the universe I am done!  However, after a conversation with the VP of Student Affairs, I will not be permitted to walk.

This was actually a relief to me.  I did want to be part of the ceremony, but I'm happy that I have zero reason to be there, otherwise I probably would have put myself through listening patiently for hours to speeches, names called, awards given, and crying friends and family.  I also do not know many others still there, as I am a good 4 years behind my original graduating class of Spring 2014.

I'm glad I have completed this journey, but the next part is about to be found...

Life is good, let us strive to be good also.  I'm going to be the best I can be!

My understanding is that most people, if not everyone, produces artistic content fluidly throughout their days.

Whether or not that art is documented, complimented, or even seen, most things around you including you are art.

I have decided to spend my time working on art and for love & with less focus on working for money.

I am so blessed to have GinGer, my partner and Service animal, by my side.
