My Mom's Mandarin Tree Is Blossoming
This is the first time that mom's mandarin tree is blossoming. I thought that maybe there wasn't enough sun or something like that.
Then I heard that in the forest there are citrus trees growing in the shade of very large trees. These citrus trees were growing wild. I think that these trees were located somewhere in Florida.
So maybe even with not enough sun mom's tree will fruit.
I don't know if it was cause we had more rain recently than I remember in a long time. Maybe it is just time for the blossoms to come out, even though it never blossomed before.
I have the same situation where this is the first time I see my young Eureka lemon tree blossom this year also. My lemon tree does have to deal with some shade, but not as much as mom's mandarin tree.
So I will be looking forward to moms mandarin tree fruiting. I hope most of the blossoms stay intact so it can fruit.
What I like about citrus fruits is there vitamin C. That is why I wanted to plant my lemon tree and am excited about mom's mandarin tree.
Mom's mandarin tree is a dwarf. So it won't get too big.
One thing I like about the mandarin fruit is that it is easy to peel and also it is like a mini orange.
So moms tree is a little tree. I am thinking that maybe I would like to have a tree like this too, because of space I would like a little tree.
Maybe I spoke to soon. I just read that a mandarin tree can blossom and still not fruit as it might not be not old enough. So, I guess there is still a chance that mom's mandarin tree won't fruit yet, but I do hope it does fruit.
Let's end with a scripture. As it is written, Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by fruit. Matthew 12:33.
