2 halves, one heart

We are all familiar with pendants with 2 halves which you can split, keep one for yourself and give the other to your beloved. 2 pieces of a jewel, 2 parts of a heart, 2 broken shards that even though they are sometimes separate, they still maintain the same shape for fusing together when they are close to one another. Are we humans not the same? Maybe halves split in the primordial soup, scattered across the earth, forever awaiting our other part to complete us. Most of us just pick a half that is close to a perfect match, but there are those chances in a million that you may find that immaculate bond that has been out there since the beginning of time, silently awaiting you...just you. And when you do find it, make sure to never let go. Because letting go, will forever render you incomplete.
