Why is Exercise important?
We all know exercising is important but some might not exactly know why.
Helps to prevent diseases
Regular exercise is necessary and indeed extremely important for physical fitness and good health. It also reduces the risk of heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes and many other diseases. Best of all it can delay the aging process as well as improve your appearance. Now who would have thought that?
Improves your stamina
While doing exercises like Aerobic which involves physical motion, it improves your stamina and trains your body to become more efficient by using less energy. Your body uses energy while you exercise to keep going.
Enhances your flexibility
To keep a good posture, stretching exercises are extremely important. This helps when you need to bend, twist or reach for something. Flexibility means less chance of being injured and improves your balance.
Strengthens and Tones
Weights and other forms of resistance training develop muscles, ligaments and bones. Your muscles become more firm and toned and there is a chance that your posture can improve as well.
Improves your quality of life
It is proven that exercise can improve the quality of your life! All you have to do is exercise regularly and keep a healthy diet. It reduces the stress, helps you sleep better and even lift your moods.
Controls weight
Because you burn calories while exercising, it controls your weight. However this can only be achieved should you exercise regularly and keep a healthy diet.
How often should you exercise?
As often as possible! Even it is just doing simple things like lifting your cup to your mouth to drink something.
