7 Things You Didnt Know About "Grant Gustin (Barry Allen)" THE FLASH..

Thomas Grant Gustin (born January 14, 1990) an American actor and singer is officially becoming a house hold name across the world thanks to his role as Barry Allen the scarlet Speedster in CW's THE FLASH, having the pleasure of knowing him from way back I though to do a post inspired by a video i saw on youtube about 7 Things You Didnt Know About Grant Gustin.

1. Grant Gustin was SEBASTIAN SMYTHE on Fox's Hit Show GLee

First we will be taking it back to grant playing the bad boy role of SEBASTIAN SMYTHE on Fox's Hit Show GLee showing his great skill on singing and dancing. So you'd know Grant actually auditioned for another role which he didn't get but was later called back to audition for the role of Sebastian which the rest you already know.

2. He is a trained dancer

Grant might be quick on his feet as The Flash but his fancy foot work started long before he broke out as a Speedster. At age 8 his mom enrolled him in tap dancing class and at "10" he dropped out of other organized sport to focus on dance by the time he was in college his tap skills was off the charts. talking about him auditing for another role on Glee, he auditioned for the role of a tap dancer.

3. Grant Wanted to play "Finnick odair" in The Hunger Games

After hitting big on Glee Grant fans rally-ed for him to play the role "Finnick odair" in The Hunger Games even though he didn't ultimately end up playing the role he had this to say when casting was on:

It was actually cool coz i read that book the "Catching Fire" about a year ago I guess or a little less but when I read it I really had a strong connection to that character and said to my friend kyle that was on the West Side Story tour with me Dude am going to play this part.

Sadly, the role did go to someone else the awesome "SAM CLAFLIN" luckily for him coz we are now seeing more of him on The Flash than we ever could have on The Hunger Games.

4. West Side Story

For Grant quickly becoming one of televisions youngster, Broadway was his first love. In fact when he landed the job on Glee he was in the midst of huge National tour of the Broadway Musical "West Side Story" which he ended up leaving the tour to appear on Glee. He still plans on returning to Broadway.

5. "The Man of Steel" is His favorite Superhero

Grant may play the role of Flash Surprisingly it isn't his favorite Super-hero, If you wondering which caped hero is he favorite? It is none other than The Man of Steel himself SUPERMAN.

As a kid he used to wear a superman costume everywhere, he even has a tattoo that reads " Superman I Love Him" on his mother's handwriting which stands for as her drawing Superman pictures for him to color as a kid when he was 5 years old.

6. Grant is engaged

Although, Grant is married to Iris West on the Flash but what is his really love life looking like. Well friends, grant is engaged to Andrea "LA" Thoma The couple announced their engagement on April 29, 2017 who is supposingly rumored to be getting married soon.

7. Grant Loves for Music

Finally, we know grant can sing going way back to his performance on Glee and also on the crossover episode of Supergirl and The Flash where he did an original song titled "Running Home to You", penned by Dear Evan Hansen. He does enjoy listening to "Jason Mraz", Also a big fan of Singer Song-writer "Eric Murchison", Bruno Marz, The moves Like Jagger of "Maroon 5", Mumford and Sons to name a few.
