Do you think we can save the planet?
What can we do?
How can we face an increasingly polluted planet every day, while we make big industries understand that there are more than 7000 million people on the planet, if this planet is destroyed the amount of human beings sacrificed would be a misfortune to win More money, let's think?
What is global warming?
The glaciers are melting, the sea level is rising, the forests are drying up and the fauna and flora are struggling to follow this rhythm. It is increasingly evident that humans have caused most of the warming of the last century, through the emission of gases that retain heat, to enhance our modern life. We call greenhouse gases and their levels are getting higher, now and in the last 65,000 years.
We call the result global warming but it is causing a series of changes in Earth's climate or long-term weather patterns that vary by location. As the Earth revolves every day, this new heat turns in turn picking up moisture from the oceans, increasing here and settling there. The rhythm of the climate to which all living beings have become accustomed is changing.
What will we do to slow down this warming? How are we going to cope with the changes we have already put in place? While we try to understand it, the face of the Earth as we know it, its coasts, forests, haciendas and snowy mountains are in suspense.
Greenhouse effect
The "greenhouse effect" is the heating that occurs when gases from the Earth's atmosphere retain heat. These gases let in light but keep the heat like the glass walls of a greenhouse.
First, sunlight shines on the earth's surface, where it is absorbed and then returns to the atmosphere in the form of heat. In the atmosphere, greenhouse gases retain part of this heat and the rest escapes into space. The more greenhouse gases, the more heat is retained
Researchers know the greenhouse effect since 1824, when Joseph Fourier calculated that the Earth was colder if there were no atmosphere. This greenhouse effect is what makes the climate on Earth suitable for life. Without it, the surface of the Earth is not about 60 degrees Fahrenheit colder. In 1895, the Swiss chemist Svante Arrhenius discovered that humans could increase the greenhouse effect by producing carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas. He initiated 100 years of climate research that has given us a sophisticated understanding of global warming.
Greenhouse gas (GHG) levels have increased and declined during Earth's history but have been fairly constant over the past several thousand years. Average temperatures have also remained fairly constant during this period of time until recently. Through the combustion of fossil fuels and other GHG emissions, humans are in the greenhouse effect and warming the Earth.
