Let's Do Boxing This Time! :)
Hello Steemians happy weekend!
I would like to share to you my weekend routine.
This photo was taken this morning when I go to boxing gym.
Boxing for women is really taking off. We're picking up our gloves to get fighting fit but that's not to say some of us aren't intimidated by the idea of boxing. The idea of bulky arms, monster muscles and nose bleeds is wrong. Boxing is actually a brilliant way of sculpting and toning and that hulk-like muscle mass you're worried about is just a figment of your imagination.
Whether you're pounding a punch bag or skipping your heart out, boxing training is something every woman should try at least once. On top of toning your muscles, boxing has a load more benefits that make it a brilliant all round exercise choice for women.
I go to boxing gym every weekend it's just my stress reliever, actually I want to try boxing because many celebrity woman do boxing like Demi Lovato an international singer if you know her and a filipina celebrity too, I encourage myself to try this because I just want to try how hard it is and it is very challenging to me because I know that it is not easy to do some boxing. If you are watching boxing you think it's easy, but when you try it and you are already at the boxing ring with your coach you feel so excited with a little bit nervous, it's really hard because you need to give your full energy just to punch and you feel like you are so tired, you need to do it in 3 rounds, actually every round will take 3 minutes. A boxing training session involves every muscle in the body, but especially the core and the shoulders. Your abs and obliques will be aching after your first few session. The coach will train you, he will be the one to tell what move you will do to punch him, I mean you need to punch the punching palm that he used. But before you start boxing inside the boxing ring with your coach, you need to do some cardio exercise, workouts and stretching for about 15 minutes, then after that you have to do 60 rounds of jogging/running, well I really have to do that because it's part of the boxing training even if it's very hard. I don't have any regret to do boxing because I know that it enhanced your cardiovascular and to be healthy. :)
Well, after I do one on one boxing with the coach I have a scars in my hands, it hurts actually but it's okay. I called it "battle scars" :)
An hour of boxing burns around 350-500 calories depending on your weight and the intensity of the workout. An advanced female boxer on a high intensity boxing workout can burn more 500 calories an hour.
There are 10 reasons why I'd like to try boxing.
- It keeps your heart healthy
- It makes you super-fit
- It torches calories
- It'll burn fat fast
- It'll make you strong
- It's a great stress reliever
- It's an awesome way to tone up
- It's a whole body workout
- It'll help with self confidence
- You can do it anywhere
After the boxing training when I got home I feel like so relaxed but my body almost give up because of a body pain I feel like I'm sick but I'm not because that's normal to have a body pain after that boxing exercise, but its just on a first day, you need to continue it so that the next day you don't feel any pain. I'm doing this for myself, to look healthy and not be sexy. It's a healthy lifestyle :)
I think that's all I can share to you guys. If you want to try boxing too, just go with it, it so exciting and it makes you feel good and healthy :)
