LEAD ON BY DREAMS, THANKFUL WE NEVER SETTLED FOR LESS

We had come into this city with nothing but dreams, the dream to be and to have.

A new kind of hunger burned within us once we were old enough to realize that a better life than the one we lived existed and to get this better life we had to work, and so we worked.

We moved far away from everything home, away from the hugs, kisses, warm and mediocrity, we moved in search of a new home, in search of greatness and we found this town. It was it's night time view that lured us into it, and that night we swore to be 'it' in this town and to have 'it' in this town.

Hundreds of lessons and successes later, I lay on his chest as we 'lazy' about in our penthouse, from here the view of the city is magnificent, one of the highest in the Town. It was because of it we bought this house.

I can't help but wonder if we never left, if we never tried; I think not for our sake but the countless others whose lives is better because of ours, others to whose stories ours is a prologue.

Thank God we didn't let them down, thank God we never settled for less.
