How I Met the Famous Lil' Grizz
This Man Lives a life from 140 years ago! Here he is pictured in a creek on a Ranch far from town Near the Kansas/Nebraska Border. Lil' Grizz was on sight for our yearly Spring Cattle Round up. The round-up also uses traditional turn of the century cowboy techniques.
Here he is in his Tent, setup in the woods, crafting a custom top hat for a fellow traveler. This "Rendezvous" lifestyle was at it's height mid-late 1800s. A Rendezvous (French word, from the many French Trappers) occurred when Mountain Men would come out of the wilderness and mountains once a year to a large gathering on the plains to restock, rest, and revel in society from which they normally excluded themselves.
His outfit is not a costume. It is his every day attire. Even in the town square he is dressed in full garb head to toe.
Here he is assisting a local Art Council play with custom "Period Correct" head-wear for the lead Villian
