Heroes are Reel or Real? - IFC S2R10
Hello Steemians,
What comes in your mind whenever you hear this word called "Heroes"? If you're a Marvel's or DC's fan, you can count dozens of them quickly. (By the way Iron man and Superman are my top choice) But are they real heroes? Or those stuntmen who do those life risking actions or the directors who worked for years on their scripts and always sit behind the cameras to create such amazing movies?
I met many heroes in my life, I'm talking about real life heroes. If I start with my childhood then one day in school, a group of boys came and started bullying me. At that time suddenly a boy came from behind my back and defended me. On that very moment, he became my friend and my hero too. Later on we made our own gang over there, a good gang. Like little Avengers who were fighting with little Thanos.
During my high school I got shifted to a new place. Over there a tall guy was harassing a little girl, so I stopped him and I became a hero for that girl. Till now we are connected as good friends.
After schooling I went to an NGO. Over there we had an event of cleaning the city garden. It was so huge so does the people's created mess too. We had a task to clean that whole garden. I was very nervous due to my lack of efforts on maintaining the cleanliness in my home. So I was feeling awkward by wearing those gloves and doing it in front of unknown people. Suddenly a couple came and started cleaning the benches and the mess around it. I was shocked by seeing them because they were foreigners, not from my country and still they doing this without seeing anything. They become my heroes who gave me the inspiration to do that work. Afterwards I was so charged up, I clean the entire area near by the garden also and kept on doing that until they sent someone to bring me back.
There so many heroic incidents I have like this in my life. They all are normal human beings but with a good heart and good intentions, which gives you a power to lead such initiatives to help others and make this world a better place.
Heroes can't be seen wearing superman's t-shirt and they are not made in heaven, they are among of us who are constantly trying to make heaven for others and become Heroes.
You might be a hero for someone right now who are admiring you, following you, your actions and suggestions. Don't let them down and keep doing it whatever you're doing for them. Either they are your family, friends or colleagues, take care of them.
Because you're a Hero for them and world need super heroes out of Marvels too.

Sorry to hear you were bullied when younger also, but it's awesome to hear someone helped you and that you then later helped someone else in a similar way! That's awesome. :)
Also the story about cleaning was great too! Speaking of such, I really need to clean my room!
Well said! I highly agree and resonate with this.
That made me smile :)
This part really hit me and made me a lil emotional..
I'm not sure if I'm a hero to anyone like that, but.. It makes me want to try to be more like that and to help others more! And maybe one day.. I can be a hero to someone if I'm not already. :)
I loved this entry of yours! Awesome job. I've been pleasantly surprised by you and others who have submitted to the IFC on such a regular basis that I feel like you all have changed my life so much for the better, you are all heroes to me! So thank you for that. <3
I'm happy that I got bullied. So I came to know how it feels and could help others to deal with it. And learned to not to do this with anyone.
Some times bad things happen for a reason I guess.
You're already helping many Steemians. I can remember when I joined here for the 1st time and you were there to guide me. :)
So a big yes, you're a hero of all Steemians who are connected with you right now by any reasons!

I'm a highly visual person, the pic caught my eye with the Superman shirt underneath, but also his arms! Lol!!! I was thinking is this wolverine mix superman?
Pls excuse my jokes. I have a clinical inability to hide funny thoughts from spilling out.
It's true, there are everyday superheroes walking around everywhere. Some cheer up your day with just a hello, an understanding nod, or paying for your parking when you have no change, or give you a flower on your lowest point. These are superheroes who constantly pass through my life.
Then there are the ones here who drop in to upvote you out of the blue, give you tips and create their own tips and check in on you to see if you're doing okay.
;) Would be nice for you to stick around, because whatever we do, it's always a journey in having moments, connections and experiences, with people, nature, the creatures around us.
Have a great week
Very well said @kchitrah,
I choose that image with the purpose of portraying normal humans as super heroes.
It took me a while to figure out which one to finalize but I guess this one is totally worth it here.
The incidents you mentioned are indeed, valuable ones. Can't remember when someone paid for my parking? Haha..Thanks for passing by and giving your insightful comment.
Happy to see you. 😊✌️

One does not need to have super powers to be a hero. I see most people with a good and loving heart as heroes.
@hermannsol Yes, that's the thing we need to appreciate. A real good heart, not a fancy one.
