'A Day in A Life'

Principles are timeless truths, concepts, or proverbs for our ponderance.

Volition is the power to choose.....to make one's own decisions.

Thank you Steemit readers.

A kind note to all new Steemians......good manners and thoughtfulness of others will take you far....as for those who leave notes and links directing members to their site....and those who comment without an accompanying upvote.......please be advised this is not the Steemit way.

bleujay does request that Steemians be so kind as to not leave gifs/photographs/etc. so as not to distract from the post......thank you.

Beautiful principle and arworks, as usual! Volition... I have to think around this thing, principles sometimes are really useful to reflect on our daily life. Thanks to share, dear friend! All the best to you and yours ^_^

Thank you dear @silviabeneforti for your kind reply and compliments.

It is a splendid word to study....it's meaning, synomyns, and antonym study.

It's origin....Medieval Latin...from volition...stem of volitio.

Wishing you and yours a lovely weekend. ^__^

Ciao.

Ever important is volition in this life we lead. Oh yes!

And what lovely cows, more importantly though... the landscape. You can see winter losing its grip, spring tightening her hand!

Thank you @meesterboom for stopping by.

Appreciate hearing your thoughts.

And yes...it was the landscape....how amazing it was...it seemed to go on and on...saying goodbye to Winter......in an echo......

Cheers.

Greetings dear @pepe.maya.

You are correct......indeed it is....trouble is so many do not recognise it and surrender their volition to others.

So happy to hear you enjoyed the post.

Appreciate your kind words as always.

Wishing you and yours a lovely week end. ^__^

Cheers.

You could say this post was mooving.

Good job man

Greetings @tornadoman.

Hi @bluejay, reading through the many comments that your principle made in mind of many people it could be a double edge sword too. Of course it is important to have volition, to know what we wish and will. But on other side when I think about other mighty people who are on power in some countries, who sometimes have their will and for them it is a sacred cow that makes me shiver to imagine what kind of crazy ideas can be born in their head tomorrow. Do you agree with me?

Greetings @stef1.

Thank you for your query.

Let me begin by saying.....principles would not include criminal behaviour or power/approbation lusts....they refer to what we ought to do......rather than the flawed capabilities of mankind.

Volition...the right to choose.

....would refer to (1) Respecting the volition of others, referring to adults;.......where one may not care for fill-in-the-blank, yet others insist they must.

Additionally, respecting one's right to choose by not gossiping about other's choices.

and (2) respect of one's own volition.....by not surrendering it to others (except in the case of legitimate authority).....or to chemical substances.

This of course is all within the realm of comman sense...the point being that when we do have the freedom of choosing......respect it for others and yourself.

Appreciate the opportunity to think on these things.

All the best to you. ^__^

Cheers.

Thank you for your explanation, the way you explained it made everything really clear and it is really a sense in your words. But I like the way how your principles make people think and as you know so many people so many opinions :)
