5 ways to deal with stress.

in #life7 years ago

Stress is a bitch. I think we can all agree on that, so how do we deal with it? Well, in this list I will teach you how. Let's get into this one boys and girls.

One.
Inhale, exhale. I can tell you from personal experience, this works like a charm. When the world keeps kicking your ass and you feel like your about to explode with euphoria, taking a deep breath and then letting it all out. It feels like nothing ever happened. Deep breaths my brothers and sisters.

Two.
Take things slow, one at a time. In life, work gets thrown at you all the time. Whether you like it or not, one day your plate will be filled with ass kicking. You have to figure out how you're going to get 10 assignments done, take out the trash, feed the dog, break your neighbors mailbox, and get home just in time for dinner. And you think to yourself, how the hell am I supposed to do this in time? Well it's quite simple, focus on 1 task at a time. Don't think about what you have to do next, just do what's in front of you at the moment. Then you can hold up a huge middle finger to the world in proudness.

Three.
Laugh. Laughing makes everything better, am I right? Or am I right? Take some time in between work to watch some comedians do their thing and laugh your ass off. WARNING, only do this if you have the sufficient amount of time. This tip works best when you have about 10-20 minutes to yourself. This tip will also work if you having the audio from a comedy show playing while you work.

Four.
Make sure you set aside time for doing what you like. Whether that be binge watching tv shows or smoking a fat joint, make sure you have time for those things. Constantly working 24/7 doesn't give you enough time for yourself. Alone time is very very important, sometimes we need to get away from everything and focus on what we like.

Five.
If you're the person that everyone keeps going to for an answer to a question, you can delegate to other people. Example, say you know the meaning of life and everyone keeps coming to you for the answer, there's about 2 billion people right outside your door waiting. That's a lot of answering, and a lot of repetition. In turn that causes stress. But you know a few people that also know the meaning of life. So you direct about 70% waiting at your door to the them. Now you only have to answer 600 million people's questions compared to 2 billion. That's a bargain if you ask me.

So now that you've gone through the list and you've read all five tips, I want you to try and apply this to your life. I apply these to mine and I'm a relatively stress free person. Stay safe you sexies out there. betafish out.
