Things to do in your 20s to be happy at 30s!

in #life7 years ago (edited)
When we are around 20 years old, we started to ask ourselves: "I want to do absolutely this and that until I am young, so that I cannot become a frustrated 40 years old guy because he/she has not been able to enjoy the most beautiful years." The closer we are to the 30s and more this conversation topic fades away, until is officially banned from any conversation when you hit the 40s. This is because the more time passes and more we understand that we didn’t do all that we wanted to do and maybe we had to do. So here's a list of things to do before 30 years if you do not want to be an unhappy 40s, 50s and so on.

  1. A trip to the real disadvantaged, sleeping in the public parks and feeding on canned food.

  2. Living out of the house.

  3. Seriously, risk contracting a sexually transmitted disease - possibly avoiding taking it for real.

  4. Lose sleep for who, perhaps without too much knowledge of cause, you will call "the person of your life."

  5. Spend potentially deadly days of anxiety because you or your girlfriend do not get the period.

  6. Break a relationship in a traumatic way.

  7. Get drunk until you puke out your guts.

  8. Being the king of a party - possibly one you were not invited to.

  9. Blow off your parents - do it at 20s because if you do at 30s, they will be so old that they might get a heart attack (and there is a risk of getting rid of you).

  10. Stay a week without a phone.

  11. Climb a mountain.

  12. Practicing yoga or other eastern escapes following a mystical crisis.

  13. Find out how you can live without even accessing Facebook.

  14. Waking up one morning and not remembering what you did last night and how you ended up in the place where you are.

  15. Have 0$ in the wallet.

  16. Study abroad.

  17. Be an idiot, irresponsible, happy.

  18. Backpack for a few months anywhere.
