New Years Resolutions
So the time is fast approaching for new years celebrations and of course Resolutions.
For the past few years I’ve not had any New Years resolutions because they were usually something stupid like “I wont bite my nails” or “I’ll try to eat healthier” and then as time went on they were forgotten about anyway.
I’d like 2018 to be the year of enormous progressions and self-improvements however, so this year I will have some resolutions in the form of real meaningful goals I’ll be striving hard to accomplish.
Additionally I thought if I wrote them down and posted them in a public domain it would mean I had more of an obligation to do them and tick them off along the way. Some may sound too ambitious but I’m really in the mindset to throw all I can at 2018 and work ridiculously hard, I can rest a bit in 2019 haha.
• Finally start my business, get my first order of stock by the end of February and get it to a stage where I can do it full time (had a slight head start on this one as I got quite production over the past few days)
• Do something I really fear like skydiving or scuba diving, my boyfriend is doing a skydive in January but I think I might need a few more months than that to build some courage. (A resolution stemming from this quote – ‘you gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.”
• Work on my confidence and Public speaking by attending classes and throwing myself in the deep end.
• Visit 4 different countries I’ve not been to before.
• Go to dance class every week (when in this country)
• Buy a property to rent out.
• Be more open with people. (I’d reached a point where I was like I don’t need any more friends, I’ve got all the close friends I need so I’d stopped trying as much with new people, however you can never have to many friends and a willingness to learn more about new people is a great thing.
• Cut down on sugar to the equivalent of 1 teaspoon a day.
• Meditate Everyday
• See the positives in every situation (I tried that this year but I definitely didn’t try hard enough. I believe strongly that what you give out is what you get back so I’ll be doing this properly in 2018.
• Seeing friends more often. (As you get older everyone has more obligations, moves to different places and sees each other less but I’m going to try to organise seeing friends and putting a lot more effort in to this.
There’ll be other things that fit within these resolutions and definitely a few more things that will come to mind, that I’ll add later, but there you have it my main New Years Resolutions.
If you decide to do this too, let me know I'd love to see what you have planned for next year !!
Bring on 2018 !!
I Hope everybody had a Merry Christmas and has a Happy New Year.
