Everything You Do In Life Is Your Choice, Take 100% Responsibility
Earth is a school and you participate in many different classrooms. All these classes that you choose to take are your choice and you decided to get on the ride. If the class isn’t something you like, you can drop out from the class at any time. Until then you are making the conscious decision to keep going with it and there is a lesson in there for you. These classrooms can consists of Thoughts, Habits, People, Places etc.
Whatever thoughts you choose to keep filling your mind, that is your choice and you are allowing them there. When you make the conscious decision to say “No, I don’t like that thought anymore, I have looked at it for too long, I have been living these same patterns over and over and I see what it has taught me, I am going to bridge that to something new.” You change the way it is occurring for you. You make the conscious decision to go and hangout with certain people. You make the conscious decision to do certain habits. The only person responsible for any of it is YOU.
The most important choice you have is how you see yourself. You get to choose. When you are in a classroom of thoughts about yourself that don’t necessarily make you feel good, they will manifest on the outside and you will take certain actions that will result in exactly how you see yourself. If you know doing a certain thing, or hanging out with a certain person is going to result in the same action or feelings and these aren’t necessarily what you want, what makes you choose it?
I’m sure we all have somewhere in our lives where we know we could be participating differently. Some areas I’ve nailed it and then others I’m like okay I’ve gotta stop that, but why do we choose that? There is a payoff we are getting from staying there that is keeping us from wanting to be more. What classrooms do you keep going to that you know aren’

Good article! As far as aligning yourself with the right people, that can be a catch 22. We all know that misery loves company, but sometimes you can't just abandon the miserable.
