Psychology: BROKER OBJECT, aka "Everything a Cat can do"

I have a beautiful family.
Of course, this is what we all say, hiding moments of conflict or misunderstanding.
But today, which is more than three months that I do not spend a day with my family, I feel that I would like to be with them, with the feet in the sand, the look at the sea, and the certainty that they are beside me.

But why I'm writing this post? Just because my mum has sent me a video message.
They are spending few days in Pisa, in my own home, where I've been living since 2 years. They arrived yesterday evening, because today is a festivity day in Italy and they will remain until sunday. You have to know that my mum, she's afraid of cats and can't do anything if cats are running around...except screaming and furying her legs.

Well, this simple and quick video made me smile and rubbing my eyes.
The caption of the video said that "the irony of the fate: a cat welcomes us"
While I was watching the video, I started to think when I was young, her fears and expectations towards me, our moments together (beautiful and less beautiful), the moments of sharing and tension we have experienced..and immediately I realized I was grown up, and that she and my dad became even older...but that we are not so old for our affections, and to excite us when we are together.
