Pohon kayu Merbo berumur Ribuan tahun, yang masih berdiri tegak di Desa Saya Desa Seumanah Jaya, Kecamatan Ranto Pereulak, Kabupaten Aceh Timur, provinsi Aceh, Indonesia.

Hingga kini pohon itu masih berdiri menjulang langit, meski daun dan cabangnya kering, kayu itu tetap kokoh dan termasuk kayu kelas, yang kerap di buru oleg pelaku penebang hutan, karena kualitas kayu yang memiliki ketahana dalam kondisi apapun.

"Sekarang warga melindungi kayu ini, siapa saja tidak boleh menumbangnya, jika sampai di tumbang warga akan di berikan sanksi adat dari masyarakat, kata Leman.
