Yesterday, I allowed the three hens that live with us to walk in the part of the yard where I planted strawberries. At first, everything was fine. They ate grass and loosened the earth in search of worms. But then for some reason, they decided that they certainly needed to dig my strawberry, which grows on a high bed. I was very upset because I was specifically looking for this strawberry variety and flowers already appeared on the plants. But then I found a "forgive us gift" from my hens 😉
