Mr Crab visited last night, who would have thought?
It was 10pm when we looked up and saw this little fellow, it was a surprise! Living 100 metres from the surf beach lends itself to ocean animals dropping in now and then. He was obviously determined to visit because he walked sideways a long way, came in under the gate, up the step at the entry and through the baby gate. Maybe he lost his way.
What to do with Mr Crab? Drop him over the fence or walk him in a container with lid over to the beach?
He made his way here so we figured that he could make his way home wherever that was. He had all night before the hot day started and the road became busy again.

Haha, I love your perspective. The crab was a fun guest to have. So much for the old guard dog Marley bulldog - she slept through the whole drama. Just as well, pulling back a dog to help Mr Crab may have been too exciting!
Marley probably lifted one droopy eye, saw ten legs, muttered "crustacean", snorted, and went back to sleep.

haha! So what did you do..set him in the yard? Did you at least point him to the beach? lol.
Haha janton, we dropped him over the fence and hoped he reached a safe place to go underground somewhere.
