Scientists make cancer cells self-destruct

in #life7 years ago (edited)

New scientific advances make cancer cells self-destruct, promising to come closer and closer to the end of this disease. The experiment was conducted in the United States by scientists from the biomedical organization The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI), using drugs that achieve this long-awaited effect.

According to the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), this group of scientists managed to create a chemical compound with the ability to act directly on cancer cells. In other opportunities, different drugs of this style had been created, but none so precise and effective as this one.

The main innovation that this drug offers with respect to the others, is its speed and precision, since it directly attacks the diseased cells without affecting the healthy ones. It was also found that their effects influence the so-called hidden cells, or difficult to achieve with other procedures. In short, it could be said that under the effects of this compound the cancer cells attack themselves until they kill themselves.

Because the waiting times with this drug are really short, it is intended that in the short term it can be incorporated into the medicines that are usually used to treat this disease. In this way, the attack on diseased cells would be much more effective and faster, avoiding the secondary damage that is usually caused in healthy cells.

This treatment brings hope to the billions of people who suffer from this disease. Although it is presented as a highly innovative technique that can treat all types of cancer, studies show that its effectiveness is greater in cases of breast cancer.

Nice information sharing

Thanks for your comment

Dr Rath published this already in 2002, then the book appeared,
http://www.victory-over-cancer.org/ and in
http://www.dr-rath-gesundheitsallianz.org
the book is online in english and german.
There are 4 functions during cancer: tumor growth, metastasis, angiosynthesis, switched-off apoptose .
Also consider the work of Otto Warburg, who earned the Nobel-price.

thanks for the information, I will take it into account
