Welcoming in the second quarter of 2018

Spring time is here, spend some time outside and enjoy the blooming of the flowers. It's also allergy season, so be prepared! but you already knew that. What will 2018 bring to you today?
Everyday is a gift for everyone who is free. If you are not shackled behind chained fences through incarceration then its time to enjoy freedom. However many of us may not feel free, tied down to a job with many responsibilities, children to give love to, and pets to give attention to. But you still live in relative freedom, enjoy it because people thousands of years ago had to wake up early in the morning and survive without electricity and limited medicine. Medicine solves a lot of our problems, but not all of them. It's tragic to be shackled by illness. Many people on this planet die every single day, and those who are terminally ill can count their years left on their fingers. Take in what you can, through the pain and give what you can to others be it knowledge or possessions to preserve the remaining time you have. Spring is the time for unpacking the burdens of last year and to step into the new year. Some say that January is, but it is only the marking point at which winter shifts into spring, it is still in my belief connected to last years winter. Where as spring is the total reset, where last year is shed and the new year blossoms, just like the flowers blooming, and the trees budding.
It is a very sacred time, the cycles of life and death proceed through the procession of the equinox. Next week in the northern hemisphere we will welcome it.
