Filter Your Dreams - Dream Catcher!

in #life7 years ago

Every success begins with a dream. We’ve always wanted someone to lend their ears to our narration of dreams. Many a time we were worried about having bad and evil dreams, and obviously wanted to get rid of it.
In recent times now, there’s a great hype for ‘Dream Catchers’.

Few believe that these dream catchers work and some don’t give damn about it. Dream catchers are one among the cultures of Native Americans. They are mostly handmade with items like yarn, beads, feathers and tiny decorative pieces. In the culture, the dream catchers were hung above our heads in the room to catch hold of bad dreams and evil spirits.

The pattern in every dream catcher seems like a spider web design that is woven using the yarn, inter-fixed with some beads and attractive feathers flowing down. What is generally believed is that the web like structure traps the bad and evil dreams and allows only good and sweet dreams to flow from the web and float down the feathers and reach the person who is sleeping beneath it.

For few others, dream catchers concept of capturing evil spirits and bad dreams is just a mere superstitious belief. Its just a piece of decorated material hung on a wall as a decorative material. For them it's more or less like a placebo effect, as they work only at a sub-conscious level.
Their thought is that how can a hand-made thread work have an effect of capturing evil spirits and not let any bad dreams disturb a person and most of all how does a dream catcher know if it’s a bad or a good dream. Fact!

For both sides of people who want to use a dream catcher as a dream catcher itself and for those who want to use it to deck your halls and rooms, here’s a DIY dream catcher.
