It's about the best time to leave considering you'd be further standing your ground and showing how much your stance matters to you and shouldn't be taken for granted.
I recently attended a webinar titled YABO which means Young Africans Break Out. It was really helpful. Totally changed how the young people who attended it viewed their parents; helped them weigh opportunities they had, and proferred ways to build yourself and be grounded as a young adult. You don't up and have independence or freedom to make decisions. No one gives it to you except you so, yes, it is great to leave your parents if you are of age and they aren't agreeing with you.
Initially it will seem hard to cope without the freebies but once you remind yourself constantly that those freebies were holding you back from living, you'll get around to comfort. It couldn't possibly hurt that bad to run home once in a blue moon for stuff anyway, so yea, do it, you go dey all right.
