Thought of desiring? No. Thought of, desired, even yearned to be re-born elsewhere? Did you guess a yes? You're right! Because if you're from where I am from, you are done in just by being a citizen. You don't realise this in your early years. If you're unlucky, you do so late. If your case is hopeless, then never at all.
Unless you're born into affluence in Nigeria, it's a grand welcome (and I say grand considering the gay apparels donned in celebration when you're born and how merry people are) to a risky game a lot of us who aren't adrenaline junkies probably wouldn't download off play store, an arena with other unarmed novices left to hustle against each other and of course the merciless I-no-dey-look-face Spartacus that is life. Eat lest you get eaten. Trust these efforts to go unnoticed, and have faith in the government to call you lazy.
It does occur to your parents who have been through it before you, that they're bringing and leading you down a hole of shit. Or not.
They just want the joy of having you, and to fulfill "go ye forth and multiply."
