The strength of the desire
Do You know how to be so energetic and cheerful, like children? Know how to enjoy the sun, the rain, puddles, butterflies or chestnuts? Can, going to the supermarket, pick one Lollipop and be happy with the purchase?
What does this have in childhood, making children happy, and it goes with age?
I would call one of the most important components of childhood is the ability to want. Children constantly want something. And, as a rule, do what you want. And from that get a lot of pleasure and then what you want.
Do You often meet adults who have the same pleasure you do your business daily? Or You are so Mature? How often do You want something other than houses, cars, new phone, and the like. I don't mean that all these big and expensive things don't need to want. But how often do You buy them, how often they buy brings You joy?
Another area that concerns most of our desires for the other, "do you Want someone to have done or not done something, said or not said something"... there are areas where we just do not solve directly can not do anything...
The rest of my adult life, as a rule, has no time to want. Because "no word Want is the word!". An adult has a lot of responsibility and knows what needs to be done. To "want" over time, there is less time and effort. Our little desires seem to us trifles which are not worth paying attention to and large the desire to "slow" to be...
Quite often an obstacle in our desire is our education. How often in childhood we heard "want a lot", "it is impossible, too expensive or unnecessary" or the same "no word Want is the word!"? Hearing these phrases from my parents and trying to be polite (and to answer the expectations of the parents), we tried less want... so much desires... there is some responsibilities. And, in the best case, the Objectives that should be achieved effortlessly.
Try a simple experiment: remember that You still have to do today. And then feel a certain desire that You can satisfy (only you should listen to yourself and ask yourself "what am I feeling NOW? And what I want NOW?"). Where did You feel more energy, more strength and desire to stand up and do something?
It's very simple - if we live only for our obligatory duties, only what is Necessary, then where will our joy? How can we be happy every day? The answer is very simple - allow yourself to want... to Feel their true desires HERE and NOW. And these desires will be to touch small things You can afford to meet, or at least in the near future. Of course, You may want something very big then just give yourself more time to do it :).
In order that the wishes come true and bring You joy, that these desires were really Your real. That is, not influenced by advertising, or "because a neighbor or a colleague bought/visited/vacationed somewhere and I also have to have it!". Your true desires You will be able to understand until you are in harmony with yourself, when you feel and live Your feelings, emotions or thoughts "HERE AND NOW". When You are filled with life at the moment and not worry about the past or worry about the future.
These true desires are carried out very quickly, even without Your much effort. Are only because they really need because You recognise and verbalizable (spoke in prayer or prescribed in the diary). When God gives us certain thoughts, desires, or dreams, He has done everything to make them come true! Life is impossible without desires, in other words, the man who wants nothing is not living. She does not feel the fullness of life, and why she wants it? Just that someone want with her? And what's good or interesting might happen in this person's life? If there are no desires - so no need...
So don't be afraid to want. A true desire to bring joy to life, fill it, give us the strength and energy. Only shouldn't get attached to the desire, hard to wait until it will be fulfilled to put themselves in dependence on the desires (if edinitsa - I will be happy, but not yet realized - my happiness is impossible...). You need to understand the desire and... let go. Trusting God to believe that He will contribute to the realization of desire (if it will do You good), or does not do it (because it will hurt You) - "But let it be Your Holy Will!"
And as for big desires, even more - real big Dreams, I love the words of Paulo Coelho from "the Alchemist" : "when You really want something the whole universe contributes to the implementation of Your Dreams".
"What's decided, it will be you, and upon Your ways light will Shine," job 22:28
Dream! Dreams come true!!!
I once smoked half of a joint that made me feel like a kid. Like, everything was fascinating. I had fun just being in a nature preserve, running around like a kid and chasing my wife around. It was great. Haven't felt that since. :/
