How Hitler got a grip hold on Europe
Hitler became the Chan of the Third Reich in 1933, Germany was in a terrible situation. They were disarmed, on the brink of bankruptcy, unemployment was rife and there was a huge political rift. They were at the weakest place in the West and also their neighbors. Countries such as France, Poland and the Soviet Union eyed them with hostility and suspicion. These countries were well armed.
In slightly more than seven years, a rascal from the gutter of Vienna changed Germany into the most powerful European State. By conquests and by being very quick and scope, it conquered half of the continent.
How on earth did he managed that?
By speed, savagery and cruelty as well as trickery which was his way of tactics. First he got his authority to lead Germany. All constitutional power were given him. According to a decree of legality. With such enormous power, he banned all opposition. He created concentration camps, first for those opposing him and lead with well- planned terror.
He then put himself in a position of Keizer of the entire country. He seized trade union funds, so all power of labour was destroyed. Strikes were now illegal. Farmers were bound to their land, small businesses were crushed. He took control of churches, schools and courts. The press became part of the Nazi's, only to print Hitler's propaganda. He actually alienated all individual freedom and replaced it by organized discipline.
Regardless, he was receiving adulation. How on earth does someone pull that off? A probable answer is that 6 million wage earners who were unemployed, received jobs. These jobs were promised to be permanent. Hitler has loosened a powerful force of immense proportions which was pent up in the people after losing WW1.
Under Hitler and his followers, Germany became extremely Well armed, by land, sea and air. His foreign policy was towards conquest. When he was happy that all was in place, the army basically walked over Poland and France, then Belgium and Holland as well as every place between Germany and England. When entering Poland though, Britain and her allies declared war against Germany.
As a result of a vagrant with a plan, containing much trickery, 6 years of immense hardship and incredible fatalities occurred. Unbelievable!!

I enjoyed your post, but Hitler's rise to power was more than his own creation. The rise of Fascism and the manipulation of the German people was a concerted effort by many men; men who seized the charisma Hitler possessed and used that raw talent to begin an occult-like movement throughout Germany with the mythical man, Adolf Hitler, as the poster boy. To most of the outside world, he appeared as the puppet-master of the Nazi Reich, but there were many more who were pulling the strings and equally as guilty of the crimes that were committed under the flag of National Socialism.
Agreed man. Take a look at Theodor Modell, Hitlers doctor. He pumped Hitler full of amphetamines and got rich while doing it. Ended up getting his own pharmaceutical company out of it all if I recall correctly.
Theodor Morell was Hitler's personal physician and although he gained a great deal of success under the Nazi regime, he did not fair too well afterwards.
