nice write up and I totally agree. I like the statement by Christian Slater's character in True Romance:

"I'd rather have a gun and not need it than need a gun and not have it"

and the demonization of the AR-15 has just been hilarious over the past 5 years or so. It is the go-to word for anti-gun people that obviously know nothing about guns. It's also a damn fine weapon.
